Wow hello everyone! I don't know how I missed this thread before. I glanced in this section quite frequently and never noticed anyone talking before.
It's nice to see a handful of us still active since the early days of this shard/server still very active in the top 20. Although I'm extremely jealous of all of you finished your gear--more so on characters I was using and 7*'d sooner than the rest of you lol... i know it was said awhile ago, but yeah, Smite and Wilma were 2 guys I was glad weren't copycat parties...you guys were always more interesting fights for months and months. I feel bad I had to give up being creative and start using Dooku... I tried last night to play with several different combinations and nothing works against any of us.
Grats @Smite on both Arena and #1 Guild stuff. I half expected to see you named in the Han Solo announcement, but still sure you'll be the first frustrating the rest of us with him soon lol... I miss the days of your Leia/FOTP parties... I could actually beat those. After the last update though, I have nothing but draws against you. You seriously have the best defense team by far because it's really defense, not the IA just getting 1000 dodges and double stuns. You are still one of the few fights that feels like a fight and not just rolling dice. I think I've learned more strategy from just playing your team to learn rather than win. Although I do like catching you on nights where you are trying different things and one fight after another just so I can see how some characters are in fights.
Kinda with Kirty (Spocky) was chatting on here. For a very long period we were the only ones moving in our time slot and flip-flopped 1 & 2 for the hour and stopped a lot of of newcomers from taking over against us. Was fun when I had more time to deal with Arena.
Anyway, hopefully we will continue to see each other for awhile! Best of luck to all of us.
PS. If anyone needs an active guild on our shard, ours is still recruiting. We've only been doing 2-3 raids per week. We finish them quickly (in about 24 hours or less), but we need more active people to do them more often (we have been weeding out inactives lately).
