GAC fix

I’ve had it with GAC and being overpowered by at least 2-3 times my size ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ROUND! I’m suggesting that every time you round over into the next million GP, you gain an automatic boost into the next league.
Carbonite 5 - 1 million

Carbonite 4 - 2 million

Carbonite 3 - 3 million

Carbonite 2 - 4 million

Carbonite 1 - 5 million

Bronzium 5 - 6 million

… and so on and so on. This would alleviate much of the problem we see in GAC, especially Carbonite. This would make it where smaller accounts cannot play larger accounts if they are not ready. While the points system will still elevate you, this would be added and at the end of every GAC season and when signing up for a new season, you will be looked at and depending on if you have gone into a new millions threshold, you will be promoted based on your ability score AND your Galactic Power. Please take this idea into consideration, it will only benefit all levels of the game, because the larger accounts will be making more crystals a day, and the smaller accounts have less to worry about and can elevate themselves at a steady and fair rate. Thank you, and may the Force be with you.

  • This topic was discussed over and over and no, automatic minimum GAC Standing based on your GP on not the solution.
However, what could work, would be a parallel league. Meaning, always when you deliberately drop down a league, you are actually not dropping in the typical lower league, but a parallel one.

So basically all the high GP people dropping from lets say Aurodium down to Carbonite, would not compete in the same Carbonite as the new players. They would drop to a parallel Carbonite League only consisting of other relegated players. If that person is then starting to play normally and advances in the League he or she would be placed in the normal system again, but not the limbo. Naturally the discussion would be what is a deliberate drop? However some objective indicators, like consistently not playing, could provide the basis for correctly assessing accounts.
Principally it is also possible to retroactively determine deliberate drops as initially all players were ranked based on their GP into the new system. That was some years back, but i can be assumed that a 9m GP player lurking around in Carbonite today, would also have had some more GPs some years ago.
However what about accounts that are newer than the GAC system and still deliberately dropped in the meanwhile ?
So, better to make a clean cut. Reassign all players based on their GP again and then let the system play out.
