Because if it's more than 2 days, your chance to lose tickets isn't as bad as the certainty you'll lose tickets by bumping up against the 144 cap.

Recommend you just keep gathering tickets until 130 or so, then try the event with whatever gear you've got.

I can confirm it can be beaten at g9 :) I got to the ticket cap and short kyros and gave it a roll :)

It can be done with G9. Even tier 6 can be done with G9 (the others did most of the work.)
