Your calculations are based on endgame/almost maxed players.
What about the players who had a single good unrelated squad able to finish the higher tier? They can't do it anymore because of the pay wall. Feats are very difficult for them as well. So, they can't get almost any points
The main point was to show that it wasn't possible to get the same (equivalent) rewards each week when reaching max EP, because the EC isn't evenly distributed across the weeks. They will now change how much EP is handed out each week, so these calculations can change
