Let's talk about zetas

Okay, I may have missed it and can't find it under search but...I don't know what the drop rate is for zetas on the challenges

Let's just say the drop rate is 50%. Which I would consider high for EA! I am betting more like 5-10% drop rate. But for the sake of agreement go with 50%.

If you in 40 days at a usual ship arena rewards get one zeta every two days then you would have about 20 zetas in 40 days and enough to zeta a character.

If you go for challenges and say 40 days which is about 36 attempts in 40 days give or take. And let's just say it is 50% drop rate then you have 18 zetas in 40 days.

Ideally, you get 38 by both challenges and the shipments; however, if you are f2p how long would it take to get challenges up to zeta level and how many "40" day opportunities would you miss to get the challenges up to zeta level.

Now take that 50% and put it into EA standard 5% and you have almost no reason to waste valuable resources on ship shards from the ship arena shipments.

Y'all help me on figuring this up. Am I wrong? It seems that either you p2p with ships or you only use ship shipments for zeta in order to progress.

Maybe I am missing something but this seems odd.

  • My biggest issue with the Zetas is the requirements that you NEED to have 5+, 5* DARK side ships to be able to get them because of tarkan. That to me Is bs as most of the ships are light side and cater to the p2p type of player base to aquire these ships. It's also annoying that they made obscure garbage characters pilots. This forces users who are f2p to light spenders to focus their efforts on getting ships and pilots that are terrible in arena or focusing on Thier arena and hurting in the ship area.
  • A guarantee of one zetaeach challenge day would yield at least 3 a week and make that plus shipments a viable way to yield the zetas.

RNG seems appropriate for who the aat targets in raid or sometimes getting lucky and EP only stuns one toons. But really RNG after you have gotten through the difficulty of farming and building to even get to the challenges.

In fact, why in the world would you need RNG for zeta?! I understand stun cuffs cause it keeps people wanting to spend to refresh energy and shipments etc. but RNG for zeta only frustrates players.
