Yes, and that is how it reads to me? It doesn’t say you need 7* to access the event. It says 7 to unlock the ship, which should be the last battle drop of shards. So the battles tier up.

But, it's contrary to the way the Exe and Prof events are set up, where they have 4* on the landing page as the requirement to access the event. The way it's set up now I doubt players will be able to attempt the first tier of Leviathan (presumably the one which would require 5* ships as implied in the kit reveal) and will instead be stuck at the preqs screen.




For any other event, ship or character if you don't meet all of the pre-requisites you can't get past that first tab even if you have the toons to do the first few tiers. Thinking about Exe, Prof and GLs. Either they were wrong in what they said in the kit reveal or they've put the wrong thing in game (probably the less likely of the two). Clarification is all that's needed.

But it may...my guildmate unlocked Exec with a 6* Razor Crest because he bought the capital ship shard packs after doing all the tiers he could do. However, you can't even buy the pack unless you have access to the event (which he had since he had RC unlocked). IT actually may hurt a small number of people who couldn't finish the galactic chases or didn't finish Ebon Hawk in time (as OP said). If they were willing to buy the packs to finish unlocking, they may be hosed.

Yeah, I read that elsewhere.... That being said, those packs are wicked expensive and I would question why they wouldn't have used all of those stashed crystals just to farm the requirements in the first place....

It may not be the same for Leviathan, but for Exe and Prof it was 1250 for 10 shards. If you were one ship short of the last tier it could be beneficial in the short term to skip the 7* tier to have a 4* CS. 5000 crystals versus 100 crystals per shard of a ship can make sense if it’ll guarantee you 1st place in fleet arena and you are, say, 80 or 90 shards from the last ship hitting 7*

I needed 70-odd shards for IG2000 when all the rest were at 7* as my last exe req and made a similar choice. Don’t regret it as I had at least a month of extra guaranteed 1st in my shard without needing to use any refreshes.

@Ultra not really. The question still stands, will it be 5* or 7* ships to access the event? Which was correct, kit reveal or in-game journey guide?

PS - I’m not making some demand that they stick by what they said in the kit reveal. If they’ve changed their minds and are going with 7* to access the event that’s disappointing but I’ll roll with it. It just needs someone official to confirm this is what’s intended going forward.

I know it's not relevant to Leviathan but are you gonna say anything about GI? A lot of people have been waiting for months and it's all radio silent. There was nothing with the update post either so it's concerning.
