Lightsabers > blaster bolts
Last I checked, people in the Star Wars universe don't block lightsabers with blaster weapons - obviously, however lightsabers DO block blaster bolts... huh!
Based on the amazing Rogue One ending with Darth Vader blocking blast after blast against the rebels, I think it's time we see more of the Form 3, "Soresu," come out in lightsaber wielding characters in SWGOH.
Of the 113 total characters, there are 30 lightsaber wielders. Now most of them, the Jedi especially, have had to at least learn form 3 at some point in their lives. Whether they mastered it like General Kenobi did or not, they still had to learn it. And with the Clone Wars in progress and having to fight countless Droid armies, the Jedi became very good at blocking blaster fire. A perfect example of this was the Battle of Geonosis.
Here's my idea, at times lightsaber wielders would still get hit by a blaster. But since most Jedi, especially the ones we have in game, blocked many blaster bolts before getting hit, I think that skill should be incorporated. So any lightsaber wielder would have in their Unique ability: "(Character Name) has a 50% chance to block blaster fire before getting hit. (He/She) also has a 30% chance to reflect it back to the attacking enemy dealing damage equal to 10% of the target's max health."
This would make Jedi viable again, especially against Droids and Rebels, who are much more common in Squad Arena than Jedi. It would also make Sith, like Savage Opress, Darth Vader, Asajj, Count Dooku, Darth Sidious, and other lightsaber wielders a bit stronger too.
All CG would have to do is configure that feature into about 30 toons (or less) and I couldn't imagine it being that difficult. Personally, I'm just sick of playing this game and getting my gear 11 Darth Vader and Palpatine killed in one hit in the Arena vs Wiggs. So that's why it would be cool to see more of Rogue One Darth Vader and Geonosis Jedi do better against blasters.
