Mace Windu/Darth Maul Rework
Greetings fellow SWGOH players, just posting this in regards to some of you who may feel the same way about these particular characters. I've been playing this game for little over 5-6 years now. I've gotten so addicted to it simply because of my passion for star wars. I couldn't help but noticed a lot of other old characters likes Vader, Palatine, a bunch of Rebels, and Empire tags have all gotten either reworks, or upgraded cosmetics. Except for Mace Windu who was a major character in the clone wars, and Darth Maul.
Mace Windu definitely needs a rework simply because outta all of the Jedi, he technically won that battle against Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith, and considering his special technique Vapaad specializes in dealing with dark side practitioners. He could use a new skill or an upgrade to his smite ability to devastate dark side characters than just wiping out all of their buffs. He was Second to Yoda in power and considered one of the greatest swordmen of his era. He also was Head General of the Grand army of the Galactic Republic leading thousands of clone into battle. Which brings me to add he could surely use an upgraded Jedi and Galactic Republic tag for the leader slot giving increased damage and buffing defence for both clones and Jedi. Just brainstorming some ideas, because (not to pull race into it) every time when there is a really cool black character, they are never given the proper platform nor significance into the films (like they did Finn) when the books and canon comics show otherwise. Even the actor Christopher Judge who voices Mace Windu in the clone wars show (who also voiced Kratos for both God of War 1,2 and 3) was did dirty by the industry. Companies need to understand they could make so much profit if they would just do a little more research and catering to its large fan base. With that said, moving onto Darth Maul.
When Darth Maul was first released I was really excited to see him as a Zeta, yah know, before relic'ing ever came into the picture. He was awesome for when it came to dishing out double damage for all Jedi characters, and his leader buff giving Sith an awesome evasion and stealth. Now he's damn near useless and benched for almost every major event that happens. I would like to see him reworked or at least completely coded into a different character as just "Maul". With his mechanical legs in the clone wars or old master outfit in Rebels. Giving him a bit more speed and damage output. He too was a major player revolving around the clone wars and era of the Galactic Empire when meeting his demise at Ben Kenobi.
These characters could use some love, and I'm sure the fan base would greatly appreciate it if EA execs and Capital Games would put in the effort to connect with its fan base. Instead of looking for ways to just cash grab.
