He's a backup choice for me, but I think he can still work since the blue makeup is going to transform anyone who takes on the role of Thrawn. That said, who I think would make a good Thrawn & who the studio will actually hire are two different things.
I thought we were just saying who we would like to see in the role. If it's about who is likely to get it, then you're absolutely right, I think Bettany is out after playing a major role in Solo.
Paul Bettany played Dryden Voss in solo didn’t he ? Don’t see him as a possibility to play another character like thrawn
