You won't be able to one shot his 4 GLs, but neither can he one shot 3 of yours

If you think he's going to place all 4, you can place 1 on top and bottom each, and go for maximum efficiency, by setting the strongest 3v3 meta teams around the GLs or so on

You can still strategize

what if your opponent has the same strategy....the guy with more gl is still at a big advantage with the new nerf. Strategy goes both ways and is clearly easier for the player with a GL advantage.

It'll come down to efficiency, maybe try playing before complaining

People with no GLs have beaten GL owners in the past, even though some would complain it was a pointless battle

in the past...let's talk about the current state. The player with more GL's will already be at an efficiency advantage.

The difficulty in taking out an opponent with more GLs before and after the nerfs isn't that different, especially in 3v3 format

But you agree, the person with the additional GL is at an advantage? I never disagreed about strategy and efficiency. I am just saying that they are at a disadvantage, especially depending on the GL.

It really all depends on the complete roster. I faced someone with 2 GLs to my one with less total power than me and they only got through two of my territories to my full clear. It's a bit of a broad brush to go off just GL count, though it can still be frustrating if most else is equal.

I am not saying it can't happen. I am simply pointing out the advantage becomes more of a factor, especially when most else (mods, strategy, roster) are equal (mainly when you get closer to kyber where the quality of competition increases). To your point.

As crzydroid said. Usually yes because players with less GLs have relic’d characters higher that they needed to, like Revan R7 when g13 would get the job done. But if a player is at GL disadvantage because he built a wider roster filled with more good teams instead of prerequisites, that very different and could be quite competitive (it’s not so true in higher divisions where your top X is only made of relics characters).
