Maul Mandalorian tag

I know this is WAY late, but rewatching The Clone Wars and just realized/remembered Maul has a single red lightsaber not a double. He also fights Sidious with a single and the dark Saber. That would be A LOT better giving him the tag. Wonder why that was not considered
