Seriously, the game has always been this way. ALWAYS. And it always will be. This is the games-as-a-service design, and it's not designed to allow you to never spend a dime. It's a constant war between fans and the developers. Fans desperately scrambling to find the cheapest way to play the game, developers desperately trying to make it just out of reach for players playing completely free. And every time the fans win one, the developers have to recalculate, and tune it even harder next time.

If you haven't noticed that, you haven't been paying attention. Get you Old Republic characters starred up and geared up, and by ready by December. We'll likely get another shot at it later December/early January.

And before anyone criticizes me as someone who will be able to complete the event talking to those who can't, I'm not even close. I've got 1 5 Star and 1 4 Star, the rest aren't even started.
