It logs damage after the update and just makes you restart. Not a big deal... unless you just want to make it one.
It doesn't cut off the game?
There was an update a long while back that made it so a client restart doesn't wipe battle status. I can confirm I have had client restarts at end of arena battle and I still got credit for the win. that said I don't like to tempt fate on it.
