MK SoroSuub Keypad Salvage 4 vs 5?

Why do so many characters require MK 4 and so few require MK 5? Every character and their brother requires MK 4 for gear slots yet hardly any characters require MK 5, and of course MK 5 is super easy to farm and MK 4 is very very slow to farm. I mean shouldn't the higher level one be more rare and harder to farm? Yet I have 400+ plus MK 5s and I can never even save up any MK 4s because every one needs them. It's either a design flaw or done with purposeful intent to try to make people spend more money. Geez there should be a way you could trade MK 5s for MK 4s even if it was a 10 to 1 ratio.
