Tried out the new mod calibration. I chose to reroll the flat protection stat on a mod and got....flat protection again. Why oh why can't we have it not reroll the same stat I'm trying to reroll?
So far both times tries to calibrate it, got the same stat that it already had, and it was less. Yet takes the mats still... this is a great change.. totally... not at all another mat sink based completely on chance. Seriously getting harder and harder to log into this game each day.

That happened to me with crit chance and if i kept changes i would have ended up with less crit chance. You couldn't even make this stuff up if you tried. How could no one notice this and if they did say thats ok. Can i refund my idiotic purchase now. Nope. Stupid cg
I noticed right away that needing mats to calibrate mods was going to be a scam. It's another form of gambling they added to entice the players into throwing cash out the window for something that should have been free. Everyone who plays this game should feel lied to because we were supposed to get a way to improve our mods. This isn't it.

I improved this mod and have thrown £0 out of the window?
Sometimes when you gamble you win. Being required to farm or purchase a new mat currency for a calibration attempt is where it's going to hinder improvements.

Aren't you just normally farming and getting those materials though?

I haven't seen where you would farm them. Any time they introduce a new mechanic that requires mats it always has a super low chance to farm or it requires you to beat a new game mode that not everyone has access to complete. For once I would like to be surprised with a free mechanic that doesn't require grinding or farming mats to get. Rerolls should have been strictly credits with a limited number of chances per mod without the chance of rolling a lower stat than the mod already has.

They are in tier 9 mod battles. Scroll on the possible rewards bar. When I get more energy, I'm giving it a try. So no idea for drop rate.
