Mod Store worth it for new player?

I’m on a new account and just unlocked mods, and am wondering if the mod shipments store is worth it? The cost seems so high for someone with only a couple million gold, and wanted some confirmation b...

Most of what was said there is bogus, except for the speed secondary part. 1 out of 64 god mod claim is particularly laughable.

Remember that we were starting out with a desirable set bonus/primary combo and a speed secondary showing.

There's a 1-in-4 chance that each secondary upgrade will be to speed.

1/4 * 1/4 * 1/4 = 1/64.

So for 1 in 64 of these good mods with speed secondaries, all 3 of the first 3 upgrades will go to speed. That's a minimum of +15 speed and max +21 speed on a good set/primary combo mod... and you still have one upgrade to go, which might hit speed again or might hit another desirable quality (though, yeah, it could also hit defense).

Maybe you wouldn't call a Purple Offense cross with Offense primary and +17 speed a god mod, but I think that's an amazingly good mod and would happily take it any day, whatever you want to call it.
