Mods with same primary and secondary Question

I was under the impression that it was not possible to have a mod with same primary and secondary.

As a matter of fact, I have a total of 0 mods of this sort. Diamonds with %defense secondary, squares with %offense secondary etc. My guildies also don't have any of those.

However I just encountered a profile which has not one but several of these mods. Is it a hack, a bug, maybe a relic of the initial days? I don't want to report the shit out of this guy before being sure.

Mods used to come like this but they stopped that years ago

Interesting, I didn't realize it stopped. Just went and looked at mod store and sure enough no mods like that.

Then I went and looked at slkr mod pack in store and it has same primary and secondary.
I guess that is why they call it "never been seen before" :wink:

So just checked inventory I actually have 9 mods with the same primary and secondary stat.

2 double defense %
3 double health %
4 double offense %

All of them on very old characters g7 stuff that I havent modded in many years... most are grey so I might try to level these up now that I know i have em lol... Only one has 8 speed (blue). Interesting find I'm suprised I have so many but I did farm mods heavily when they were 1st released because they were literally game breaking for that first week.

No they don’t. Offence, protection, health and defence have both %age and flat increases. There are no mods available in those packs, or anywhere else in game, that have exactly the same primary as secondary. There might be some with a %age offence primary and a flat offence secondary, but that is not the same.

There actually is. I'm inclined to believe getting the same primary and secondary is just as rare as getting a +6 base primary speed like the image on the third post of this thread (without paying for it).
