New era system for ships?

With the new era system how are you going to introduce new ships like red 5 to the game?
With ships you can't attack in Coliseum or attack the era challenges?
My suggestion is you create a new "Coliseum" and "era challenge" just for ships.
Attack the Death Star in "Coliseum" mode and shield generator on Hoth or something, you get the general idea!
