OP has me muted and can't see my response. I'd like to remind all of the other readers that the math in question is the cost to bring a character from level 1 to 85. No_Try claimed 5.5M (it's actually 6.2M) is a lot to spend if you're credit poor and swapping a lot of mods. OP claimed his math was off and it's only 1M to bring a character to 7*. OP misread the reply. This is what OP is ridiculing No_Try for.
