It’s not really an unfair advantage. Everyone who engaged with the last era has Teva, and could get them at g12 for free, and Omega has been out for a while. Everyone also has the opportunity to get this datacron. Ergo, everyone has the possibility to play this way.
Its clear this interaction wasn’t intended, but all of this is working as designed. It’s not a bug as it’s not doing anything other than exactly what it says it is. If they investigate and change, great. If they don’t we will have to choose to engage in the strategy or avoid it where possible. The player is doing nothing wrong by using the available tools.
