P3 Lightsaber Request With Chex Mix In Mind.
Can we please make a change to the lightsaber mechanic so that the Chex Mix team is less time consuming. Anyone that runs the team will know the level of RNG required to make a sucessful run and everyone fighting for more damage won't accept a run where they don't pass all RNG points that make the team work. Sadly you can still pass all the initial RNG checks and even have tenacity up on Han as he stands alone but it will get completely derailed if the sabers switch to have foresight as this dispells and then applies ability block, typically the next saber will then have retribution and inflict daze so you start over.
My suggestion therefore is for the saber with the foresight buff to no longer dispell all buffs and to just deal ability block. This will reduce the time it takes to get the Chex Mix team going significantly without making the raid that much easier as the end damage will be the same. For the players there would still be a number of RNG points to pass but if you get tenacity up on Han you would be more confident with your score.
I know the counter arguements will be that this will make P3 too easy and the Chex Mix too easy I don't think it will as the majority of guilds completing heroic will be using this team anyway and players will always restart their battle if the RNG goes against them so ultimately they will end up retrying over and over until they get that 4-5% run so why not remove the unnecessary mechanic that derails the perfect set up and help reduce the time spent restarting over and over.
Ultimately that would still leave a lot of RNG in the team but you are more likely to make it through and get the damage percentage you know your team can get if you survive the initial RNG points and come out with tenacity up on Han for stand alone.
