The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

I increasingly believe time-in-game is a metric CG tracks for their EA overlords... Not to mention the tediousness of TW and conquest.

We've known that for a long time. For instance, we know for a fact that CG deliberately chose to make conquest more grindy to increase "engagement" which translated to "minutes of time playing battles in that mode".
