If your opponent has put less teams on each zone then they should have negative points per missing team or I should have gained those empty teams as full wins before my first attack.If you can't clear a zone with less teams on it then you're screwed on the difference in points. The issue being we do not receive points to make up for those empty spaces unless we can clear the territory.If this was truly skill based then the other player would have to make up those points instead of getting an easy pass with a single team on defence. Not using all of their defences allows them to nuke your side effortlessly because they have not had to balance teams between attack and defence.On the other side of the coin there are players with amazing teams throwing their games to get into lower skilled battles so they can earn 1st place in future matchups without any effort. There needs to be a system in place to keep matchups fair. When is that going to happen? I assumed that with skill based we would have things even out over time. I doubt this will ever happen with the current structure.I did not make this post to complain about losing matches. I am complaining about those who are exploiting the new system for easy wins. This happens every 1 out of 3 matchups since things were changed.

Just fix the first thing with the points and force them to make up the full points for each team they didn't place. Even if the attacker gets rewarded the difference at the end of the round. That would fix the exploits and force the stronger players to place full teams. Even if the matchup wasn't fair to begin with and they could easily clear the board without the extra attack teams.

People need to stop exploiting GAC

Beside, I'm more concern in how it's affect me, not those who do the “exploit”.
In my last GAC "house", al,ost all the players exept me were 1-1.7mil more gp than me, with 1-2 more GLs and I could see that most of those I checked (from my GAC "house") in swgoh.gg had a serious drop in their GAC ranking, making it more likely they dropped on purpose.
Wether it's an actual exploit or not, them doing so causing the place they dropped, to get an un fair match.

As for what can be done- have the GP as part of the matchmaking considerations. I'm not saying that it should be the dominant factor, but let's say there should be a limit on no more than 1mil gp gap or no more than 1-2 GLs gap

I think it's so even with throwing your rank won't drop that much. Then in the next matchup you have the chance of winning all of your matches and getting first. It is more likely to push you past the losses and into the better ranking.

I didn’t get that. So if you 0-3 you have the chance to 3-0 next and finish at a better ranking from it ?

Maybe your opponent wasn't doing too good in the current ranking & took it as an easy way to move into a ranking where they are more competitive. Maybe they had a bloated roster & are in a high ranking where they need everything to compete on offense.
Either way you get higher banners for open slots & can possibly under. If they set a defense at all, I assume there was some sort of strategy behind it. It may not be ideal for competition for you, but that is also the name of the game. To make decisions that will hopefully get you to where you need to be.
