Platoons in 'Snowfields' Phase 5 (Middle). Does the Platoon affect today's Phase or Tomorrows?

If you look ahead to tomorrow, there's another similar platoon. It'll affect tomorrow's battles.

That's what I thought, but people swearing devs said always next phase. Last would just be bonus pts. Reading ahead you can see phase 6 platoons DO affect phase 6 combat. Maybe a change like some of the other stuff to TB.

People will swear to being wrong all the time =P

Some dev walkthrough video supposedly says platoons are for future phases. I haven't watched yet...anyone know what the video is?

I think the problem is at the 12:35 mark of this video and various times over the next minute at least, the dev says 'subsequent phase' platoons in general. 15:35 mark also. I think the snowfields is an exception to this rule. Messed us up though. Unfortunately things seemed to have changed from that interview.

The text in-game tells you which territories it affects. Always trust the text in game over what people remember the devs saying. (And trust actual behavior in game over what he text says. :P ) There's also a chart floating around describing in detail which platoon rewards affect which territories.
