Please give us information on RD in conquest

So, now this conquest cycle is coming to an end, and the next cycle will be using Relic Delta. If I recall correctly, you said that you want its introduction in conquest to be an overall positive change. Please communicate with us how you plan to do that soon, so that ideally we can give feedback before the next conquest starts.

My suggestion would be to change the types of feats. Remove "Gain [buff] 50 times" or "Inflict [debuff] 200 times" feats and just do "Win using [character or tag]". This will solve two problems: first, it means that conquest battles will require less micromanaging provided you have powerful enough teams. Second, this will allow kraken players to still be able to redcrate. With RD, a full R8/9 roster might make it difficult to do buff/debuff feats, so you'd get screwed because of overinvestment.

An alternative solution might be to attribute more feat progress based off of RD difference (e. g. if your RD is +4, every debuff gives 3 feat progress instead of 1), but then you'd have to recode a lot of abilities to have the debuffs apply before the damage (otherwise one-hits would be kind of a big problems for high relic rosters) and that seems like something that's not really feasible.

But please, whatever you do, communicate. We've had too little of that in this era, which is very unfortunate considering all the changes that came with the big update.

    If your full roster is R8/9, then you're doing Hard mode, which, at its absolute lowest, has an RD of 3. That number will even out more and more as you progress, until there is no RD at all in play.

  • I think his point is the battles end so fast now that getting time in a battle even with boring slow play makes it hard to trigger a feat then wait for a toon to reset to trigger again.  Battling 15 times to get 15 disarms because you win after the first round of turns sucked this conquest. If we are going into relic 3 opponents with squads that have long time being 7+ we are going to crush them.  CG has a habit of requiring the newest toons or factions on feats.  SO far the last conquest's worth of new stuff will be the only stuff available in two weeks when the next conquest starts so our DS clones are R9 for raid... our pirates are R9 for raid... the only new think will be the Stranger and thanks to not having to gear any new marquees in several weeks, the Stranger will be R9 just because we have the mats and he is likely to be OP for TW and GAC on day 1.

    We have gotten communication that even in Hard Mode, enemy relic characters won't go above R5, meaning the Krakens will have RD+3 to RD+5 on their characters, and feats often require newer characters that are incentivized to be at high relics through events, raids etc.

  • Off topic (well kinda), but is it going to use a different material system like Era does? And does the harder modes give more/better rewards in the reward track?

    ConWarlock is correct, OutrunWhistle​ . CG did say something about capping enemy relics at 5 for Conquest. 

    I don't honestly know how much this will change play, since if you're stacking good disks it's already easy to kill enemies too quickly. 

    I'm not sure that I agree with the OP. They did make the feats significantly easier a couple cycles back. I'm not struggling with CQ and I don't know anyone in my guild who is. My roster might be a tad strong to generalize, but I have a few 11-12M gp folks in my guild with surprisingly random relic investments. They aren't complaining either. Even they are higher than many folks in the game. I don't pretend this is a representative sample of all folks playing CQ-Hard, but while we don't speak for everyone, we can attest that there's a reasonable % of CQ-Hard players who haven't struggled with this at all. 

  • Forgot about that tidbit. I, personally, have only managed to comfortably get the 450 crate these last few conquests, if that helps your metrics. 7.5 million GP. Just unlocked Malgus so here’s hoping that helps me

  • Having all feats as win with x character y times, guarantees you have to run a team with character x, y times.  Take the dots feat.  LV and DV together, even in one turn each, get a bunch of dots.  Still better than running a battle 10 times to get 10 battles with Vader.  Also requires you to wait for stamina to regen to run the same team ten times.

    The other thing people don't realize is that just because relic delta is added, doesn't really mean much will change.  Sure sector 5 will now be r5 max, however, you can bet that CG is just going to boost the stats through the roof so that the teams you face may say r5, but will be r9+ in stats.

    My other guess is they do zero testing so we will get a few days in only for them to cancel because something is completely broken.  Honestly, ditch this relic delta nonsense, get rid of datacrons, and announce r10 is the cap.  All these changes are not what they said they would be.  I know I am getting less gear and such after the changes.  I don't buy the era pass I seem to be spending almost all the currency on omis and maybe some kryo.  I certainly don't have enough to buy gear as well.  Missing out on extra character shards that get converted so I can get gear in the other store is another problem.  On top of that, I'm having to spend crystals on coliseum currency because we don't get enough of that to keep up with the upgrade material, so I'm always currency limited.  They really need to rebalance.

    Disarm should be done in 1 battle.

    All you do is save feats like the disarm one for last or once you have deployable cooling system, then use this with Wat on a node that has a longer timer and disks that focus on survivability and do not add to offence (preferably also taking out damage dealers for Tanks). Worst case is you time out the battle and do it in two battles.

    Issue for you is lack of thought about how to approach conquest.

  • Its not hard to work out. Feats will still include Pirates as for many they are new, and also the 2 new Bounty Hunters. Most likely the Stranger too.

    As for feats as before you should wait until you have Deployable Cooling systems then go in with teams that can register feats but not do a lot of damage.

    An alternative solution might be for you to think about it before posting.
