Not a fan of the update. Changes to the GC are rubbish. I am not F2P by an stretch, but I do like to have a choice on what parts of the game I spend money. With the updates and the way the episode pass has been implemented, it has the feel that GC wants to direct me where I spend my money. I do not want to buy newly released toons as there are a gazillion other toons I need to build up first. Locking previously free rewards behind having to purchase newly released toons shards does not sit right with me. I usually purchase the Conquest pass as it accelerates the ability to get conquest toons which are usually really good for GAC. I also purchase LSB's to get caught up on toons I would never get otherwise and finally I will spend on crystal packs from time to time. I feel those costs are manageable as they help with rounding my roster out for GAC.
Purchasing new toons does nothing for my roster other than takes away from other priorities.
I guess I will just have to miss out on GC rewards and will look to not spend anymore on this game at all.
Not a fan.
