Problematic omega (fugutive) event, problem hunter rewards character road

I am playing this event but I do not get enough shards to advance the only way to advance is using crystals which I think is unfair, we could at least get shards in I cantina battles, or as omega in galactic battles.

Also I am lvl 85 and I complied with various quests using hunter as stated but it says in order to get the reward you need x shards of this character I think that Also is unfair because you met the required task, but don't get it because you have too little shards fix it plz.
