G8 will suffice. However taking Ezra and/or chopper to g9 will help.You should definately train your team. Taking them to lvl 85 from lvl 80 will increase their chance of landing debuffs and increase their chance of resisting debuffs.Move your best mods to your phoenix for the event. They do nothing for the team when equipped by other random characters. Potency for Zeb. Mod Ezra for damage. Mod tanks for tanking. Give them all high speed secondaries.

Give them all high speed secondaries.This^The strategy is also very important. Dispel the buffs on the Deathtroopers ASAP. Then kill Deathtroopers. Any time you can stun Thrawn do it. After Deathtroopers kill healers then the tank and finally Thrawn.

Because you'll have the first one of those in existence.

Do not zeta Kanan just for the Thrawn event. Only start putting zetas on Phoenix if either: A - you generally love using them as a team, it B - you've Zeta'd all the better abilities that are generally listed far above Phoenix in the zeta report on SWGOH.gg

If you can spare one, a Zeta on Kanan made all the difference for me at that gear level. It’s not a throwaway investment either, the team is good for GA and TW. Also speed mods, as always.

back on the second time this event came through i beat it with g8 lvl 85 toons and my arena mods switched to them, took what seems like 100+ tries, put a potency cross on zeb and give him as much potency as you can while still fast, call zeb as much as you can so he can daze and stun

I wasted atleast 1000 crystals, for just 1 mod that has speed as its primary, arrow and secondary speed. 1000 crystals , i dont want to spend for each of my mods.
I guess i failed this.
Also , what should i farm? Some guy told me nightsisters as I did , but should i continue doing that?

I had almost same team as his all lvl 80 to 84 wxcept chopper was IX all omegas plus mods on ezra u should change also i had ezra IX i beat thrawn in 4th tries so if it helps any change mods and bring ezra to ix and try again

How??? What mods? I ain't any magician, so I don't know which mods, since i just came from a long break.

You should look for 4x offense mods with speed and 2x critical chance mods with speed

You're really gonna need them all at least G9 and lvl 85 and even then it's going to take a ton of RNG. The general strategy though is that you NEED to remove the buffs from the death troopers or they'll just murder you without any effort.

I need some time like 5 days to get them all to gear 9 or 10, since i dont have gear required.
