Protection Recovery <> Healing

The recent patch included protection recovery being prevented from the "Healing Immunity" debuff. This makes no sense whatsoever.

"HEALing Immunity" deals with "HEALth" - by the very nature of the word. The developers have been very clear that protection and health are two different things. Healers cannot heal protection or affect it in any way. So why can heal immunity?

I have no dog in this fight (I don't run Zeta'd clones or anyone else that benefits from this error - in fact I run Sith, who DO benefit greatly) - but it should be changed to reflect what has been the case all along - that healing (health) and protection are separate and distinct mechanics.

  • For me it is all about communications. It is not like anything is decided on a whim.
    it had to have been know that this was coming especially since it was explained as:

    Healing Immunity: Debuff now correctly blocks Protection healing.


    If it was not working correctly before this should have been shared with the community when the first zeta that provided protection recover was released not almost 3 months later.

    I wouldn't mind trimming it all down personally, simplifying it, but different stuff for different folks. Might be worth putting a request in the feedback section if it's worth it to you.
