I agree completely

The protection bar is an absolutely awful update. I've played this game for the past few months and have had no reason to post in the Forum until now. Please remove the protection bar. It completely changes the strategy and ruins certain characters, especially healers. This game needs to remain simple, that's the appeal. You're not making a first-class MMORPG here, it's a mobile game. I can't even finish an arena battle with the protections bars on.

Protection bars just went live today, so we will all need some time to adjust and change our meta to compensate for the update.

With that being said I have spend some time playing today am my first impression is anti-protection.

It appeared to make class cannons more useful and as stated above healers far less useful.

GS and Rey were able to completely remove the protection in one hit where as my dodge-speed team needed several attacks to remove the protection of the team i was facing. This allowed GS and Rey to knock out everyone's protection before I had removed one of the opposing players.

At a glance the changes today did nerf speed teams, especially QGJ, but did not high DPS characters to achieve balance. Instead of rounds ending in a minute from high damage characters it ends in 2 minutes.

For reference I am Lvl 70 with several 7* toons, gear level VIII and usually finish Arena in the top 200.

I am Lvl 67 - some Lvl VII geared characters. I kinda figured a complete heal might restore my Protection. I was dismayed. Sooo... if I'm attacked my Lvl VII Gear becomes Lvl VI Gear for the remainder of the battle... or War. Discouraging.

How bad is this update?

I agree. The protection bar was unneeded and just a bad idea in general. I could see making it a temporary buff that some characters have where if they use a certain ability they gain a protection bar for x amount of turns but the way they executed this was just horrible. The game was thrown completely out of balance by nerfing basically everyone except tanks. Healers are now useless because they can't heal the protection bar and attackers are useless because they now have to deal tons more damage in order to get a kill. Also since many of the best attackers were also fast, they now can't hit as hard due to speed decreasing damage output. This is a horrible update, if something isn't fixed soon I'm done with this game

This is the worst update in the history of videogamedom....

Roll it back, before it is too late....

EA..... Please listen.....

HA! I think there are SEVERAL of us that created or logged into our account for the first time in a long while to complain about this update. I really, really wonder what they were thinking. Really.
