So you create an event that influences the player's spending choices. Then you repeat the event but alter the parameters without letting the players know about it.
Bear in mind that this is only ingame currency, not real money. But i will go and say if this was actually real money I am fairly certain this would classify as a fraud.
Legally this might be completely different due to the fact that crystals are only ingame currency but morally - not so much.
