If you were to ask me their ability to battle any meta but not be the best just screams balanced. Think of the last five actual metas, each of their purposes were to counter the previous meta, wiggs= meta. then palpatine who directly counters Biggs and all rebels. Then two starting taunters to keep palpatine from shocking Biggs and to keep Biggs from instakilling any one attacker. Droids have a simple crit everyone tactic that isn't in contrast to anyone in specific other than Rex, it has it's perks and drawbacks without needing any one specific team or toon to prevent them from being OP. With the bounty hunter, first order, and resistance buff I think CG is moving towards this direction. That direction being good synergies but no full synergies that dominate arena
