Quick arena question
Am rank #1 in arena for the first time, to stop people from sniping, I would attack number 2 from number 1 about 8 minutes before the rewards, if I won or lost that battle, would it affect my #1 stand...

If you engage in battle at rank 1, there is no possible way to lose standing. The only way to move back is if someone beats you, which they can't if you lock with someone close to payout.
Personally, if I need to, I'll engage someone in 2-4 at 6 min left and let the timer run out. Someone else likely can't snipe in under 1 min.
