Quick arena question

Am rank #1 in arena for the first time, to stop people from sniping, I would attack number 2 from number 1 about 8 minutes before the rewards, if I won or lost that battle, would it affect my #1 stand...

Gratz...been in your shoes many times and i always get challenged just b4 i try to hold out the position... and wind up losing without enough time to get back... so imo dont get bent outta shape if you get knocked out at least your still getting good loot.

Hope you have better luck than me....i just aim for top 10 anymore.
