Based on 'Episode IV: A New Hope'
Synopsis: The Death Star has located the Rebel Base on Yavin IV, and is charging up its laser to destroy them. Fight through waves of TIE Fighters until the way is clear to land the final blow.
Rebel and Empire ships allowed.
Hero Ships:
I agree with you, except for adding a new pilot version of Luke. I think the pilots should probably just be CLS and R2 or Farmboy Luke and R2. I don’t want another marquee to farm when this ship would inevitably be an expensive legendary of some kind.
I like the idea. It was first pitched years ago by other players to have this exact "raid" or event. Some players have been asking for the Kenner line up of characters for years as well. Why don't ships have Red 5 and X-Wing pilot Luke? I'd personally be happy with another format to enjoy ships, Trench Run or attack on the second Death Star would be great and introduce player versions of the A-Wing, B-Wing, use the Tie Interceptor as is, and add to the lore.
I’d want a ship raid, only if all the requirements aren’t new marquees. Could be interesting to have a multi-wave ship battle.

Edit: Also, you saying "all you are doing is choosing a part of the films, describing what happens in the film" is no different than the current raids. Speeder Bike, Krayt, Rancor, AAT, Order 66...

These are getting boring now as all you are doing is choosing a part of the films, describing what happens in the film and listing existing ships or characters with one or two new ones.
