Raid Lockout?

Question

So we just had a failed merger happen, and our guys are just back in our old guild...

It seems hard to find a concrete answer on this through googling. Is there a time lockout on getting rewards from starting a new raid? (not one in progress?)

I'm not sure I understand the question.  Members can't participate in raids that were launched prior to joining, but they will be able to join any that are launched AFTER they join.  Does that answer your question?

I had heard something about being locked out of getting rewards for any raid being launched up to 24 hours after joining a guild.

Yeah it was to stop the 1% wales from creating multiple guilds to guild hop and speed up raid rewards. Then they created the New raid that catered exclusively for them.
