Red dot in the mod set

@papy72 I was mistaken, I apologize. That indeed is Basic mode.

Basic is the "new" mod screen with Tips, and recommended mod sets, and a brief sentence describing why to use them.

Advanced is the "old" mod interface that we used prior to Mods 2.0.

The Red dots on them indicate the game wants to recommend something else. It's either; A - agreeing with what you have on the arrow and triangle, or B - you don't have any in your inventory that match what it would recommend.

If, in that basic mode, you click on a mod with no red dot, it will typically show you a "ghost" image of a mod with what it wants you to go find/farm/buy (i.e. none in your inventory that match).

I didn't realize the dots meant different things depending on basic/advanced. I just lucked into a 5-dot speed arrow and the game wants to give that to Jango (red dot popped up).

Some of my mods appear to have the dot because its not lvl 15. Clicking on it doesn't give me the ghost recommendation but has a dot on the upgrade button instead. My triangle doesn't show the dot but does give me the ghost recommendation and there isn't a dot on the upgrade button.

This is very confusing.

Yeah it's recommending that you level up the mod to 15 to get maximum stats. That's all. Because the set bonuses and stats are maximized at that point.

As for the triangle, it wants you to put something else there but because you don't have one in your inventory, it technically can't recommend it, so no red dot.

Basic isn't so basic eh.
