I do, however, think it's a bit scummy that we don't know what those odds are and the gaps between the best and worst abilities is such that many of them just aren't worth having at all. Never feels good to spend resources and feel like you got nothing useful out of it. Guess who rolled TFP on their first set 4 DC!

I have three DC.

First rolled TFP and I have no reroll mats since they were completely removed from conquest.

Second rolled LS. Rerolled to....LS.

Third rolled LS. Rerolled to...LS.

Ooof... yeah, I consider myself lucky despite having zero DC drops from Conquest yet because I have 2 of the Empire CDR L6. And I only have 3: the free one and 2 from SSC.

Whats the point in posting screenshot nobody can even begin to make out what datacron abilities they are..

It's the fact that they are all the same. It is always the same 3 with every reroll.

Oh, they obviously know it's worse. It's like conquest - started cool, turned into a turd. Datacrons started as a turd, now they are getting turned into an abomination, a blasphemy about a fair game design.

They've also substantially decreased the amount of datacrons you receive. I had dozens from previous sets, so far from set 4 I've gotten two. But yes, one was the DV/LV cooldown connection. If I can get a third datacron, that one might roll for the cooldown connection so I have one to use for the Tarkin cyclic slaughter.

CG’s last datacon Q/A was pure gas lighting. They designed set 4 to be a pure money grab.

The weighted chance, with limiting the ability to farm resources, basically forces players hands to buy packs or lose in gac.

This company is awful.

To be fair on this, they probably ought to make available information on what drop rates are for the different abilities like they have to do now for the packs.

Absolutely correct. It's gambling and they are liable.

Another scummy move was telling everyone they'd get all those lovely mats back from previous datacron iterations expiring and then going ahead and switching re-roll mats farm to TW.

Always sounding generous and noble and then showing how disingenuous they are and obliterating goodwill.

Not gambling, you can’t directly purchase a reroll / datacron upgrade.

Not saying they shouldn’t tell us, just saying that they aren’t required to.

I think you're technically correct, in this context (Hokie is talking about legal liability after all). But man do I wish this loophole didn't exist--i.e. some regulatory burden on what the gaming industry has become might be nice.

Would it change your decision making process? It wouldn't change mine. I already know that

1) The rate is low for the best abilities
2) I'm not spending crystals or money on DCs regardless
