How many people even know which team beat them? In Squad Arena, as far as I am aware, there is no way to check. In GAC, it is after the event has finished and moved onto the next one.
Knowing that a Nightsisters team took out your Jabba team, for example, would really only encourage you to invest in them. You’re either going to want to raise their relic level, change the line up, or invest in better datacrons.
I change my defensive teams often, but only because I will have been working on a team for that role. If they lose, I would only consider looking at the above to improve them.
