RELIC DELTA-TIME TO LEAVE...

This is how strategy dies. In middle of applause....

Senator Amidala predicted future ..

The game now passes through it's darkest times...

What is disguised as "update" and progress is in fact a huge boost to pay to win players...

Well, we had fun though. Time to leave...

Who cares , you will say...

But you dont hear players outcry for this...and this soon "here rests SWGOH which after relic delta the base of this community feels treated unfair and left this game...."

BRING BACK THE BEFORE DELTA ERA OR A LOT OF PLAYERS WILL LEAVE SOON.

    MockingMax​ You mention your whole roster but your examples are punch up squads. No GL vs GL. So that seems to be the priority and a very quick fix with the relic economy change.

     I am a 12M roster but most of my attackers and tanks are >R7 (attackers up to R8 and tanks up to R9) in my core squads. It’s my supports which needed some help for survivability. I have a lot of random R7’s and R8’s from TB platoons such as Alphra. I also have R9’s for the raid in JV, Quadme and DS clone. A really good place to start is some with the R9 tier on assault battles. Also a RD of 1-2 is not too bad.

    From my perspective my strategy of roster development seems to be paying off, even if a lot of my higher relics were because I enjoyed the characters or for PVE. High relics have always improved consistency of counters. Whilst rosters which efficiently minimised investment may require more further investment than rosters with high relic investment, it does seem fair to reward relic investment. Yours really must have been scraping through counters for them to have stopped working whilst they have not for all K2 players. I think high relics should always have been increasingly more powerful as R9 was not too desirable before RD outside of requirements. I get the frustration of it suddenly changing but I think it’s progressive to promoting investment to higher relics.

    Also in context of GAC RD is not automatically causing wins and losses without an underlying issue of under investment or strategy. I lost to my opponent who had a larger roster and more GL’s than myself whilst I had more higher relics. They had better placement of GL’s whilst most of my high relics are on my offensive teams at the moment. So they full cleared whilst I failed to clear Pirate King Hondo. There are multiple levels to success and RD is only part of the picture.

    Yeah, the problem now is that you can only play with high relic characters, the fun of the game for me was trying to use different combinations and see how they perform, but now if Indo that I will lose for sure as of course I don’t have all my characters at a high relic level. Now I play with the same 3-4 squads and the enemies the same thing which becomes repetí to be and boring, instead of relic delta they should welcome players to innovate and try different stuff. I get the datacrons help with this but trade off is favorable for high relic characters and not everybody can access resources to level up the datacrons as they become good after level 6

    Not just people leaving or threatening to quit. These updates have put a huge amount of stress on the entire player base as a whole. There are so many good aspects about the game that have been literally taken away because of these changes between Coliseum and Delta.

    These changes make it exponentially more difficult to run a guild over everyone being on edge thanks to these updates. It's difficult when I message someone and they threaten to retire or leave the guild because the stress is too much these days. The game is not fun any more and CG doesn't give a crap if they lose players as long as they have our money.

    What is even the point of having us spend so much when everything new in the game is set up to prevent progress except when CG allows it. They really get a hard on when it comes to breaking the trust of the player base that has invested and kept this game running for so long.

    The whole game needs a proper rebalancing to account for the issues of relic delta. CG did the lazy thing and slapped a buggy delta mess onto every single battle in the game and it's breaking gameplay everywhere. 99% of my battles delta doesn't even work correctly. My R8/9 team can still get 2 shot from an r5 or lower PvE opponent. I also see this garbage play out in PvP battles and it's more than discouraging when it comes to influencing my investment of higher relic levels.

    At some point the compensations and apologies will be uneffective if CG stays on course and does nothing to actually fix any of the issues they are pretending to acknowledge. I don't see why they can't allow our investments to actually be worth something and not be a buggy mess that takes away from every aspect of the game. It's overbearing at times and as long as CG has our money they don't seem to care.

    For anyone thinking that I'm being too harsh or critical of CG. Just look at the amount of money they have made in the first week of coliseum. Why can't they afford to invest into development and quality of life for the player base?

    Yeah, I duuno about this. No doubt some players will leave. That happens with every major update. My guild has lost two or three in the last couple of months. I feel like these were people that probably already had one foot out the door and a good stiff breeze could have nudged them across the threshold. 

    I haven't noticed that my game play has been negatively affected - barring the occasional no-buttons issue cropping up after not seeing that happen in ages - but other than that I have noticed that the missions in TB that I already had on auto just go faster - and the later missions where relic levels pull even are pretty much unchanged (and mostly still auto-play). 

    If you're mad that your budget counters don't work anymore, there's fantastic news - relic materials have never been more accessible. So chances are you can get those formerly budget teams up to snuff pretty quick. If you minimize the relic difference, your old 'off meta' counters will still work just fine - that hasn't changed. I'm not sure what people are saving up for. Add relics to the toons you've had at R5 for the last four years. You now have an excuse to take some of those characters up to higher relics - this will benefit you everywhere in the game. 

    What has changed for me is that I'm a lot more eager to apply R9 where previously I wouldn't. People complained for ages that R9 just didn't mean much - well now it does. That's pretty ok with me. I like that. I feel like relic progression matters for something other than arbitrary unlock requirements. 

    It's really weird to me in a certain sense - CG put progression back on the menu and people are mad about it. This was always a progression based game and we stagnated for years at R9 because R9 really didn't matter. Progression matters again - go progress already.

    Maybe no one reading this wants to hear this but there's someone out there that probably needs to: I noticed I had way more fun with the game when I stopped taking everything about it so seriously. It's not the end of the world if you go down from k2 to k3 - or from k4 to A2 - your arena rank is not who you are and your skill rating can't be cashed in for anything when you log off. It's just not that serious to lose a round because someone had more invested into relics than you did. If that ruins your day and your enjoyment of the game, maybe you're better off moving on anyway. I had to make that choice recently - and instead of logging off and leaving my guild I decided to chill out a bit and take the thing way less seriously. I'm way happier for it - I'm enjoying the game more - I still get to hang out with my guild mates and be a part of a team effort - and my crystal income and rewards have hardly noticed.

    I strongly urge people to take that attitude for a test drive. It is so choice - if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

    Relics are supposed to mean something. It makes sense you need to rank them higher to beat higher lvl teams 🤦‍♂️🤣

    Ahh, you're one of those people who like to kid themselves that they're good at the lottery.

    RNG determines nearly everything. How many shards or gear pieces you get on each farm, 90% of every mod interaction, the details of nearly everything you do in nearly every battle...

    It isn't that you are not a slave to RNG in the game, it is that you lack the wit to realise it.

  • In the first round of GA my normal counters didn't work, in at least 50%  against higher relic teams. 

    And they say it doesn't kill strategy....lol...

    And another joke is "higher relics are more accessible than ever " ....hahhahahaha

    With what ( huge ) cost? Do we have to walk around naked cause we will pay countless times? ....
