I partially agree with you - on the older assault battles, the third challenge tier provides the same rewards as the second challenge tier, so I think they should tweak up the rewards at least for that
Agreed, I always thought when that tier was introduced that it was a placeholder set of rewards, and they'd be increased later. Didn't happen, but it would be nice if CG did increase them when R10 drops
