Remove the Shards Bottlenecks
My single biggest frustration about this game is that every aspect of it is bottlenecked. Look I get progression, the grind, choices etc.. but in a game like this every aspect does not need to be limi...

That is the nature of the game, very long, very slow, very painful. You're complaining about the marathon 500m into it.
If you think there is a shard bottleneck, that means you haven't hit the gear and credit wall which is way worse. I just unlocked Yoda 7* after getting the rest of the jedi for an AAT team but need 5.5m credits to level him and 1.5m credits for the stars PLUS all all gear from previous 5* lvl ~50 gear 5.5 before he's useful. OOPS, forgot the 6 mods needed, so add another 3m+ credits and 5-6 weeks of double catina refreshes to farm 6 decent 5* mods or buy them with cash.
Doable right, now multiply that by 70+ toons that need credits and gear. That's what lies ahead of you, good luck.
Oh and since you are not an early shard player (playing for a year) you will never, ever get a toon from a tournament save you are a mini-whale sub level 80.
