Removing all mods and reassigning

So I'm thinking of taking all of my my mods off of my current toons and reassigning them to optimize who has what. I recently started running empire in arena and still run rebels in raids but I feel like my mods are all over the place. I know my empire team could use some optimization. I did the math and it'll take a little over 1m credits to unequip everyone, but I think it's worth it to get my mods optimized (at least for now)

Anyone have any tips for the best way to manage sorting through the mods to find the best ones for the best toons once they are unequipped? I'd love to use swgoh.gg but it looks like it only helps you manage equipped mods now. So that won't help me once I unequip everyone.
  • Just did the same thing. It's a very poor UI for managing mods, painful process (not to mention quite expensive in credits but that's a different issue).

  • Ya. The game needs to be more fluid with mods. Big task to reassign all mods. Ranks right up there with cleaning the garage/basement or reorganizing the kitchen.

Developers, please look into more efficient mod utilization. Something like a way to keep mods saved as a grouping that way you can build them like you would a team. And a way to switch a mod directly to another character would be needed.

Very difficult to switch mods now.

I bookmarked that site, it came in very helpful today with getting Krennick. I couldn't beat the last stage of the the last tier. I re-assigned my mods based on their recommendations (as best as I could anyway), and was able to get the job done.
  • Swgoh.gg will still work, once a mod has been assigned, it is registered in the database there. So even if you remove it, you can still see it. The only mods you won't see are ones that have never been assigned.
Figure out what you want your team to primarily do, and then mod the character who does that best then build around that. For me, Boba's ability block was my starting point, so I made him as fast as I could while still having high crit chance and decent potency then built around him with a fast STH, 88, JKA and just removed TFP for Kylo (need more heal immunity for a couple teams in my arena)
    Good luck!

How do you see the ones that were previously assigned but are now removed? I only see assigned mods.

They will just show up, rather than having a picture of the toon on the mod they will have a red marked out circle.
  • Umm, not sure what's going on... I just went on there to double check and you're right, they don't show up
  • When looking at what mods work, just look at the top guys in your arena. They should have a good mod setup. You might even have to take a little inventory and or use swgoh.gg to remind you. But I remove mine from time to time just to make sure I hadn't messed something up by moving a mod or two when I want to try something out in the raids.

If you know you are adding crit chance you will just have to filter and look through all of them to find the best ones.

I wish you could have mod sets. That way it would be easier to move them to another toon. So you would have the right combo every time and could just add that set to a toon when you wanted.

This. Just register on swgoh.gg, if you haven't already done so, and use their mod manager.
