I really don't get why people are up in arms about those not contributing to the raid getting raid rewards. 1) If someone is lower than you in the leaderboards it doesn't affect your payout 2) If the AAT is any evidence, future raids will be reliant on as many contributors as possible, so if someone misses rewards that just hurts the entire guild and the intent for this (I believe) is for Rancor where a guild can blow through it in under 30 minutes if they wanted to...so its only sensible to protect the guild members from missing out due to bad timing.
And really, if one of your guildies had to miss a raid because of some real life stuff do you really want to take the "tough, you didn't contribute so you get nothing" attitude?
