Am I the only one who thinks that the little rey update of her not being counter attacked on her flurry of blows, kind of sucks. I mean shes crazy powerful and she'll occasionally run into a dooku or ...

The response to this was nearly universal that it was a bad change, and for pretty much the same reason as this one with Rey, only the opposite. With Asajj, an unintentional side effect that actually improved game balance by giving an underused character a reason to exist was removed, reducing viability. With Rey, an unintentional side effect that improved game balance by providing a slight detriment is being removed, giving more power to a character that doesn't need it.
It was bad for the game, it reduced her viability.
But we can't be hypocrites. We can't pick and choose which bugs we want fixed and which ones we want to remain in the game.
I can't say 'You nerfed my Asajj, why did you do that? It's bad for the game.'
Just as you shouldn't say 'You buffed Rey, why did you do that? It's bad for the game.'
