Rey's Zeta

Yeah it's pretty bad. Rey should be about two things. Dealing damage and gaining foresight.

Using her for utility (by dazing someone you aren't immediately killing) is a waste of her lifespan.

I can't figure out what they were thinking when they made that Zeta. It costs more than Zader and does less. It really needs a rework.

I think it should inflict expose instead to work with Finn's lead. Also, maybe give her Forseight at the start of the encounter. Maybe a bit more too, but I think that would be a start. Maybe added offense or a way to cleanse herself?

Drop the daze effect and have the zeta make flurry of blows an aoe attack and then watch people scream. Then it would be worth the added cost

The unique zeta abilities cost more because they're more versatile in that they can be anywhere in your squad and will always be active.

All zeta abilities cost 20 zetas, it's just 3 more omegas and 10 more mk 3 mats. If you can get 20 zetas you shouldn't really be complaining too much about 3 omega materials and 10 more purple mats.

However, Rey's zeta is pretty much useless as she's not used as a support/TM controller, she's used to whack people and whack them hard so they die. No point in Dazing a dead body. I agree they should've made it some kind of expose function or honestly just expose and daze would be alright. That way the resistance team would be able to expose through tenacity up to start the match off a little more easily against Rex/Yoda/Chirrut teams.

Fusillade already is an AoE attack..... for Phasma.

Who is the Ad Wizard that came up with Rey's zeta ability? Yeah it seems extremely lazy and thought less to do that.

I like your thinking here. I don't care about the negligible extra mats for her ability, I'm just looking at it from a cost/benefit perspective. They really dropped the ball on her Zeta.

Agreed, most zetas brought synergy to teams and factions and really drives you to run them together, whereas Rey's zeta doesn't really bring any synergy to her faction and I think that was a mistake.
