The best you can do is get them in your guild and donate gear to them.

You can also put a high power character in your cantina/light/dark battles that they can borrow as an ally to work through the nodes faster.

Most things that new players need, older players dont.

Also, since it is wise to gear one toon at a time, you can give things your current toon target doesnt need.

I can just see 10 million new accounts being added to the game, so people can just farm gear on their toons and keep gifting it to themselves, or ell stuff on black market.
