Ship Faction Identity
Factions in ships each have an identity, even if they don't have their own capital ship:
This isn't necessarily an all-inclusive list, but it should catch the highlights of each faction. Faction and/or kit passes could make ship battles more strategic and engaging. Below are some current proposals for changes; please chime in with your thoughts on what you think each faction's "identity" should be and/or a particular kit you think could use some work. @CG_CMandell tagging you here because ships :)
Proposed changes:
- Rebel: Protection Up, Assists
- Empire: Debuffs (primarily Target Locks), Offense
- Resistance: Daze, Solo Act (no tie-in to other Resistance or any allied ships)
- First Order: Turn Meter Manipulation/Gain
- Republic: Taunts, Protection Recovery
- Separatist: Anti-Buff, Debuff, Out-of-turn Actions....and Slow ;)

- Separatist Faction: Create some more synergy between the three ships so it makes sense to use them together instead of SF and Soldier by themselves for other fleet comps
- Possibly change damage reduction on Soldier's auto-assist when he's assisting Separatist allies, perhaps with a slight increase in assist chance (so it's more frequent and impactful when it happens)
- Increase Geo Spy's chance to stealth when hit to help him survive longer. Potentially change up his crew ability so that it has more consistent damage without making the "wombo combo" too easy to pull off.
- Possibly change damage reduction on Soldier's auto-assist when he's assisting Separatist allies, perhaps with a slight increase in assist chance (so it's more frequent and impactful when it happens)
- Ahsoka's Kit: "Turnabout" (Offense Up+25% TM or 80% protection recovery+cleanse) doesn't heal much because of low base protection, most people use her for dispel only and never use this. Update to a damage attack or keep similar to Poe's "Bolt from the Blue", but make it more relevant. Ahsoka has trouble staying alive, but she needs to if she's going to dispel both the initial taunt and Maul's Retribution. However, I'm not sure if granted Foresight like Poe's ability would be keeping in line with the current Republic identity.
