Overstatement? - KellinDrexelSeasoned NewcomerA happy customer is a paying customer. Not every little thing has to be monetized.
If it had been like that, you would have had to pay for a "bug free pack" too. - MasterSeedySeasoned VeteranSupposedly the division of ships into starting fleet and reinforcement squadron makes the creation of load outs problematic.
My proposal is simple: create "starting fleet loadouts" and "reinforcement squadron loadouts" and if we have to load 2 things instead of 8, that's still a significant improvement in QoL. (You would also have to scroll through fewer things to get your things and you would also never have the problem of CapShip/StartingFleet mismatch.)
Is it everything we would like? No.
Does it completely sidestep the problem CG said was the issue in creating ship loadouts? Yes.
I say do it. "MasterSeedy;c-2366555" wrote:

Seems like a year or two is enough time to find a solution to that problem.- LendersQuizNew Rookie

Ships were added on Nov 16, 2016. I don't know when we started asking for a fleet loadout, but I am guessing it was when the 4th or 5th capital ship was added.
CG must have known since day 1 that a fleet loadout was going to be needed at some point. With that in mind...
It has been 2031 days since the ship release date or 5 years, 6 months, 24 days. Perhaps just a few more days is needed. I still maintain that my "fleet load pack" would be the best way to recoup the cost of R&D. - LendersQuizNew Rookie

Maybe we should crowdfund fleet loadouts? If they deliver in time, they will get the money. If not, we all get the investment back
In all honesty, CG, is this what it will take? Players want X feature and you will only do it if we pay for it ourselves? It sounds like a bad precedent to set but if its the ONLY solution.... "zatho;c-2366724" wrote:

No! **** No!
All they would do is release something that would crash the game, and collect our money.
I'm not giving CG another dollar until they:
1. Finish phase one of gear economy changes, and release phase 2.
2. Remove the gp gate on proving grounds (this is so stupid, and wasn't announced)
3. Make some serious QoL updates, like Fleet load outs, refresh Galactic War, Squad Arena, and Fleet Arena characters.
4. Give guild officers more power to manage guilds, and implement a way to address a leader who disappears.
5. Announce something to look forward to like a new GL, TB, or new game mode.
Bottom line, I know they won't do these things, so I have no reason to buy anything.- ScruminatorSeasoned NewcomerShip load outs honestly would be a great addition. Which is probably why CG still went ahead with adding datacrons even though the leak proved it was highly unpopular ?
- LendersQuizNew RookieWe want CG to spend X amount of dollars to do some programing and provide ship loadouts.
Total return on investment? $ 0.00
Perhaps we are thinking about this the wrong way.
CG spends X amount of dollars to do some programing and provide ship loadouts.
Then sells a "ship loadout pack" for $ 20
Total return on investment? FAR greater than $ 0.00
Sometimes, all you need to do is speak using "a different point of view".

A one time payment for zero bugs going forward? Please tell me more!
