Shoretrooper - thanks...

Conveniently RG has 1 less speed than shoretrooper. So can give him defense and health up and if his taunt is removed it will completely reset his cooldown. So he will start with a taunt and be able to taunt on his 1st two turns. Add that to the highest health in the game and a nice crit immunity, plus pairing well with one of the best leads in the game, and shoretrooper is without a doubt the best tank we've seen. Not unbeatable by any means, but certainly tops at absorbing damage.

Did not think about that at all. Yeah, if you pair him with RG and there's no buff immunity on him, he's going to taunt constantly.

Buff remover will only help him chain it twice to heal his entire team 18k.

Buff remover doesn't reset cooldowns, son.

It removes a turn for each effect removed. You cleanse his taunt and crit immunity - you remove two turns. It isn't hard for him to gain other buffs through RG and other toons.

He does not give crit immunity to Himself, actually read the description

That's debatable. Regardless it's not hard for him to sit with 3 buffs and taunt before you get a chance to cleanse.

It says specificly, "Crit Immunity to other allies"

Other allies VS all allies........I'm thinking its another bad wording in the description, off the top of my head I dont know of any other character that only gives buffs to other allies but not themselves.

I don't think it's the aoe chars that are going to take the biggest hit, I think it's going to be the single target burst attackers that will due to shoretrooper starting the game off with a taunt. Unless you set your speed so your dispeller goes first that's going to be a lot of wasted damage for you to start the match off with whereas aoe is an effective tactic to get around the taunt.

It's not just speed secondaries. It's possible to get a mod granting 200 offense on a secondary, which is a fairly significant boost in damage or 10% crit chance, which is equal to two sets. Speed secondaries are by far the worst, but the other secondary stats shouldn't be discounted either

Raid Han stuns his ass. Auto taunt makes you Wipe him out first. End of story. What's the big deal? He won't even get a turn. Maybe one??

I really don't see the big draw here. I am not gonna go crazy trying to get him.
